Yes and no. Rogue Legacy 2 may seem more difficult because it has a lot more variety than the first one. Each hero class now boasts a unique weapon, meaning the characters play drastically differently from one another. This naturally makes things more challenging for both newcomers and veterans of the franchise. However, with that said, we’ve also introduced new game balancing mechanics designed to make the sequel beatable by a wider range of players.
